    Windows 98

    Nigel posed the question:

the new version of lawbyte.net will not run under windows 98 - are there  many users out there who still run lawbyte under windows 98?

I have one machine running windows 98 but would willingly update the machine in oder to receive Lawbyte maintenance. I think that it is important for all user to be running the same version of access and Lawbyte. Let Edgebyte get on with developing the software instead of wasting time supporting versions which are nearly 10 years old.

Of course there is nothing to stop existing users under w98 continuing to use the version of Lawbyte they already have

    Re: Windows 98

It will be possible to use Windows 98 as a client by installing Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or later, however this will require either the use of a server.

However, Edgebyte will be offering a securely "hosted" version of Lawbyte.NET, so all you would need to use Lawbyte is a web browser and an Internet connection. This would allow Windows 98 users to continue using Lawbyte.NET.
