edgebytebackup.exe is a self-extracting .exe "light" release of Edgebyte Backup 1.1.2 that should work on Win98 and beyond. It's intended use is when the main installer version is too "heavy" or errors for some reason. It puts Edgebyte Backup and its main dependencies in c:\EdgebyteBackup, creates a shortcut on the current user's desktop, and automatically runs Edgebyte Backup. (Edgebyte Backup does require Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed from here) There is an emergency account set up - username guest, password edgebyte - this is to be used to get data to us quickly when all else fails.
