In response to feedback from clients who have recently installed the 8.04 update, we have made a number of alternative backgrounds available. These range from plain white to more decorative examples as shown above. They can be downloaded from the miscellaneous section of the downloads page. Try them and find your favourite, the standard background is there as well - just in case you change your mind.
